These improvements are the combination of two projects, one on Meadow Drive and the other on Downing Street/Butner Road. Both projects were selected by the Urban Road Maintenance Advisory Committee (URMDAC) based on the need for safe pedestrian routes in this area.

Meadow Drive

We will fill in sidewalk gaps along the east side of Meadow Drive, between Pioneer and Walker roads.

This project, estimated at $830,000, is funded by House Bill 2017.

Downing Street/Butner Road

We will fill in sidewalk gaps along the south side of the road, between Murray Boulevard and Meadow Drive.

This project, estimated at $1.9 million, is funded by both House Bill 2017 and Gain Share.
